Understanding Common Sources of Interference in LTE Networks

Although many types of interference are common to all radio access technologies, the combination of new frequency allocations and new modulation types have created unique interference challenges for LTE deployments in the United States.  

This webinar uses real-world examples to discuss the most common sources of interference found in LTE networks today (such as bidirectional amplifiers, cable egress, fluorescent lighting, etc.) and how they can be most effectively identified and located.

Paul Denisowski is an Applications Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz, where he specializes in test and measurement solutions for network operators.  He has over 20 years of experience in test and measurement and has previously worked in both field and R&D positions with HP/Agilent, Fujitsu, Alcatel, and Nortel. Paul holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and was a visiting lecturer at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. He has also been an active amateur radio operator (KO4LZ) and shortwave/scanner listener for over 25 years.
