As the demand for spectrum grows and projected 5G mid-band congestion looms in 2027, the urgency for additional spectrum for U.S. mobile operators becomes a critical issue to resolve.

In the National Spectrum Strategy Implementation Plan, the NTIA urges immediate exploration of Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) capabilities in the 3.1 to 3.45 GHz band that will enable commercial access to the spectrum while also preserving mission-critical Federal operations.

Watch the on-demand webinar to:

  • Learn how and why Tier-1 U.S. operators have adopted AI-driven software to address RF interference in their networks using a RAN as a Sensor (RaaS) approach

  • Understand how this 5G RaaS with Wide Area Multi-Site Intelligent Analysis will be applied to “sense-and-maneuver” around incumbent systems in spectrum sharing environments in real-time or near real-time

  • Learn about the cooperation between MITRE and Spectrum Effect and get an inside view into the state-of-the-art DSS research underway in the MITRE labs

  • Get insights into vital new research for resolving key open questions on the use of DSS for 3.1-3.45 GHz, 7.125-8.4 GHz, and other shared spectrum bands

Speakers:
Shaun McCarthy, President, Spectrum Effect

Charles Clancy, CTO, MITRE
Rob Soni, VP - Radio Access Network Technology,  AT&T
